Barry Town Council strongly objects to the current redevelopment scheme for Saint Barucs Church for the following reasons;
The proposed development fails to comply with the guidelines within the adopted Vale of Glamorgan Planning Departments Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) documents, entitled Residential and Householder Development and Parking Standards in terms of amenity space and on site car parking.
The current redevelopment of the Saint Barucs Church appears to be an overdevelopment of a constrained site.
