As someone who grew up around the corner and who still has a parent living in the vicinity I am objecting on several grounds but not least because of the increased traffic, need for parking and congestion new developments will bring to the area. Also where will children who live in these properties be schooled? There is already an issue with school places in penarth. There will also be disruption to residents already living at northcliffe. Lastly how safe is it really to build several properties complete with foundations and plumbing in an already eroding cliff face?
