I wish to object to the proposed devbelopment of 75 Cardiff Road. I have NOT received postal notification of the proposal but was made aware by neighbours. The proposed new building will be unable to cater safely for the likely traffic resulting from the creation of 2 flats and retail premises. Some years ago, I objected to a proposal to convert 69 Cardiff Road to flats, on similar grounds, and that objection was accepted, with the result that the application was refused. In the present case, there is no need for further retail permises given the proximity of a NISA store and a SPAR located in the nearby petrol station..
