Whilst living at No. 22 we have experienced problems with parking issues. Even though we having double yellow lines across our drive people still parked across it.This was the experience of many of our neighbours.
Living directly next to a retail unit will be very distressing for us in particular because of noise pollution due to the number of hours the intended unit will be open and obviously in our opinion this will devalue the price of our property.
Looking at the plans it appears that the proposed building will be at least as high as our roof thus blocking light from our garden until late into the afternoon.
Listed below are the points we feel should be taken into consideration
Loss of light to our property from overshadowing.
Noise disturbance
Adequacy of parking/turning.
Highway safety
The need for more shops when we have a great variety within a short distance.
