Comment: As a resident of Orchard Crescent for the past 48 years I strongly object to the application as above on the following grounds:-1) To site a retail unit on a very busy, congested road and on a blind bend would be a serious hazard, not only to motorists but to pedestrians.2) There does not appear to be a parking place for delivery lorries.Are we in Orchard Crescent once again to be inflicted with the problems which we endured for 40 years with the old Health Centre?. 3 )There are already two shops on Cardiff road, do we need more? 4) With air pollution being of concern the possibility of even more more vehicles (provision on the plan for 8 parking spaces)exuding toxic fumes is not a pleasant thought particularly as children use Cardiff Road to walk to and from school. 5)The road safety aspect of vehicles entering and leaving Orchard Crescent needs to be considered especially in view of the lack of parking area
