I would like to submit an objection to this application. There is already an application that has been approved for 350 units on adjacent land and the building of a further 190 units would create even more pressure on the already overloaded road and transport infrastructure. The routes from Sully to Cardiff and beyond, which ever you take, are very overcrowded especially at peak times and the condition of the road surfaces are very poor due to the volume of traffic using them.. The public transport system is limited to buses only as there is no rail link in the village. These buses run just twice an hour at a 20 min/40 min split which is not the most convenient for commuters. In addition to this there is already a huge demand on the local school which is already overcrowded and just one Doctors surgery to service the whole of the village.
I hope the Planning Committee will take these concerns into consideration when considering this application.
