Other type details: I am a resident of Barry, so not a direct neighbour of Cosmeston Park, but I do enjoy visiting it..
Comment: Cosmeston Park is a peaceful country park, which is home to wildlife which would be adversely affected by a facility of this type. It s a place which has plenty of interest and activity already to make it a very enjoyable place to visit. I have no objection to the activity proposed, just that this is entirely the wrong location for it. There is a much more viable location a few miles away at Barry Docks, where there already exists a water sport activity and this would complement it. There is enough space in Barry for it, and local residents would welcome it.
