Cosmeston is a place of natural beauty and a sporting facility would be out of character for the area. It is banned for swimming because there have been deaths, so it is not safe for people. It's already very busy and further issues with parking and space would be inappropriate. The road is busy; there have been deaths on the road and further traffic would not be advisable.
