Comment: Cosmeston Country Park is not the place for activity such as Wakeboarding. It will harm the Park's quiet and tranquil character which is much valued by local residents and its many visitors.
Wakeboarding would require visually intrusive pylon structures and storage and changing facilities, and lead to excessive noise from competitors and supporters all harming the quiet character of the Park.
The Park is home to many Swans, Geese, Ducks etc, such intrusive activity would lead to these birds finding a home elsewhere with a great loss for everyone.
Wakeboarding activity would also lead to pressure on car parking at the Park and in surrounding residential streets which are not wide enough to cope without serious congestion.
