Comment: The Community Council wish to re-submit their previous comments, while we acknowledge that the LDP has recently been adopted the main issues are still valid, and we cannot see any changes in this application to mitigate them. We believe that it does not comply with key planning policies. It is a ?unsustainable development? the inclusion of this site in the LDP is based on still ?aspirational? employment figures of the ?Enterprise Zone? which does not have any imminent signs of progress and still does not appear to have a proper business plan. Potential residents will be adding to the already high level of commuting in the area, without any provision for improved infrastructure to the wider employment areas of Cardiff/Bridgend. The transport assessment foundations for sustainability are based on what is a ?proposed? Northern Access Road.
