Lodge an objection based on the following criteria:
- Proposed site is agricultural countryside that is a Special Landscape area and is designated as protected from unecessary development ENV1
-there are other non-agricultural sites in the Vale of Glamorgan which could accomodate this kind of development.
- Proposed site is in a flood zone. Flemingston Road and Cowbridge Road are un-passable in heavy rain unless you have a 4x4
-Thaw valley floods every year I have concerns around the provision of drainage for the additional run-off this will go into the surrounding agricultural land adjacent to Flemingston village. ENV 27 / 29
-Sewarage provision is also inadequate and Welsh Water have stated concerns to this effect.
-The presence of Brown Hares has not been considered. They are present as evidenced in the badger survey.Numbers of Brown Hares has seend decline due to loss of grassland habitats due to developments such as this.
