The planned development should be resisted. There are insufficient employment opportunities is St Athan to warrant such a development. Secondly, there is no justification for the use of farm land in an area designated as being of special interest when there are multiple brown sites available in areas that have better existing infrastructure and employment capacity. Thirdly the network of lanes and narrow roads are wholly insufficient to carry existing traffic let alone an additional 300+ vehicle attempting to access the greater Cardiff area for work. Finally, our tourist trade is founded on our scenic landscapes and not concrete developments.
