The proposal is incongrous with the street scene in that its height and attachments thereon will spoil the vista enjoyed by residents, walkers and visitors to the site. The supporting cabinets and the access road will blight and bisect the open area of parkland that is used by the residents and the Barry community. The golden steps are a renown site across the uk. The central location within the field increases the prominence of the mast, cabinets and access road and the propsal will spoil the areas natural beauty.
