I am asking the VoG Council to request that an EIA is performed on this planning application.
The Welsh Office circular 11/99 EIA (especially paragraph 33) must be considered when deliberating on the above planning application.
a) Surely if this development is part of an enterprise zone it is not local but a major regional development.
b) This is a rural area and there are a variety of issues which could impact on rural life and the wildlife of the area
c) Having lived in the area since 1972, I am very aware of the serious flooding which has affected llanmaes and Boverton in recent years.The road and bridge construction over the brook would have a serious impact on the flood alleviation scheme for Llanmaes and Boverton which is due to be started in the near future
d) Whilst the planned bridge & the proposed lighting will not affect me directly, the light pollution is bound to affect those closer to the planned development.
