I object to this planning application. As a long-term resident of Sully I feel the proposed development would lead to a great loss of recreational and public amenity facilities. Many residents - including myself and my family - regularly use the land of the proposed development for a number of leisure activities. Any reduction of the space would constitute an unacceptable loss of green area and habitat for wildlife. In addition the proposed housing development will undoubtedly lead to more traffic in an already busy area, with roads unable to cope with demand at peak-time. Similarly, problems of over-demand / inadequate supply will arise with infrastructure and utilities such as water and sewage. The area in question serves as a de-facto village green for Sully and should be protected as such. I therefore would ask that the proposed development be rejected.
