Other type details: RESIDENT OF SULLY WHO WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE DEVELOPMENT. Comment: 1. A SIMILAR PLANNING APPLICATION LODGED IN 1993 WAS REJECTED AND FAILED AGAIN ON APPEAL. THE REASONS FOR REFUSAL THEN HAVE SINCE GROWN IN THEIR POTENTIAL IMPACT. 2. THE V.O.G. COUNCIL HAS ALREADY APPROVED THE BUILDING OF 35O NEW HOUSES IN THE VILLAGE. THIS WILL PUT A SEVERE STRAIN ON THE VILLAGE; ITS INFRASTRUCTURE AND THE LIVES OF EXISTING RESIDENTS. 3. THE V. O. G. COUNCIL HAVE PUBLICLY STATED THAT ALL NEW DEVELOPMENTS THAT WILL IMPACT ON THE TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE MUST INCORPORATE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE HIGHWAY NETWORK. THIS DEVELOPMENT DOES NOT MEET THAT REQUIREMENT NOR DOES IT APPEAR TO OFFER ANY OF THE HIGHWAY/ROAD IMPROVEMENTS NECESSARY TO ACCOMODATE THE INCREASED TRAFFIC VOLUME 200 NEW HOUSES WOULD GENERATE. TRAFFIC ARISING FROM THE DEVELOPMENT WOULD ENTER ONTO A CLASS B TYPE ROAD THAT IS ALREADY HEAVILY CONGESTED. THE WHOLE SITE WAS ORIGINALLY SET ASIDE FOR OUTDOOR RECREATIONAL PURPOS
