My concern about this proposal is that because Sully is a small village adding a further 200 homes, along with the 300 plus already being allowed on the ground off Cog Road, would increase the size of the village to a degree that it could not cope with all the added traffic. There are no proposals in the plans to widen the existing road leading down to the beach. There are no footpaths along this road which makes it dangerous for pedestrians. The fact that the football pitches would be preserved is a good thing. A new clubhouse is a good thing. But the increase in traffic and population would be too much for the services available in the village. The infrastructure would be put under a lot of pressure. The school and surgery are full, where would the added population go for these services?
