As a resident I strongly object to the Planning Appilcation 2015/00843/FUL.
This open green field known as the Sully Sports and Social Club would lose it's open space, and the infrastructure and scenic view of this part of Sully would be lost to it's residents and the public alike. This green field has always had a coastal footpath running through it as long as I care to remember. A similar application was refused by the Local Authority in 1993. In my considered opinion this development is the thin edge of the wedge. Based on my local knowledge of the area I also have concerns about traffic problems. This would mean extra traffic on South Road and especially for the school runs, which again would cause problems in Minehead Avenue and Burnham Avenue causing more stress for those residents. I hope due consideration is given to this objection and the planning application is rejected.
