Firstly 2 of the 13 houses are being given back to Homfray for gifting the land - fact. Houses for sale only therefore no chance of local youngsters getting in on the buy to rent scheme. 'Tenants will be 'selected' by Hafodd Housing and will probably be from well outside the local area. This development is supposed to create social housing yet there are no amenities whatsoever in the area. There is no local village bus service within the area (despite newly erected bus stops at St Cannas Green) and with the only serviceable bus stops either side of the notorious dangerous A48 even with the proposed speed reduction to 40MPH the results could be catastrophic, I have seen too many accidents some tragically fatal, to even contemplate proffering this as a viable option.
